Number won't connect

Fix the most common reasons a WhatsApp number fails to link to WA.cr.

Most connection problems come down to three things — and each has a quick fix. Work through the checks below and your number should link on the next try.

Steps

  1. Confirm the number is set up as a WhatsApp Business number.
  2. Check it isn't already connected to another tool.
  3. Make sure you have admin access to the number.
  4. Wait a few minutes, then start the sign-up again.
  5. Request a fresh confirmation code and enter it.
  6. Watch for the "Connected" status.

The three usual causes

Almost every failure is one of these.

  • Not eligible: the number isn't enabled for WhatsApp Business yet.
  • Already connected: it's linked somewhere else — remove it there first.
  • No admin access: you need admin rights on that number to link it.

If it doesn't work

  • Try again after a short wait; some checks just need a moment.
  • Use the number "+91 98765 43210" only as an example, never your live line.
  • If it still fails after a few tries, contact support with the error you see.
