Add another number
Connect more than one WhatsApp number on plans that allow it.
Need a second WhatsApp line — say one for sales and one for support? Higher plans let you add more than one number. Each number gets its own conversations inside the same shared space.
Steps
- Open Settings, then Connect WhatsApp.
- Tap Add another number.
- Pick guided sign-up or bring your own number.
- Choose the number and enter the WhatsApp confirmation code.
- Wait for it to show "Connected".
- Give the number a clear label, like "Support".
When you need a higher plan
Every plan includes a number of channel slots, and every connected channel — a WhatsApp number or an Instagram account — uses one slot.
- If Add another number is greyed out, all your plan's channel slots are in use (an Instagram account counts too).
- Upgrade your plan, or remove a channel you no longer use, then come back and add the number.
- Each new number still has to be verified before it can send.
If it doesn't work
- If the option is missing, check your plan in Billing.
- If verification fails, wait a few minutes and request the code again.
- If the number is in use elsewhere, disconnect it there first.
