Connect your Shopify store

Link your Shopify shop so its products sync into WA.cr and you can share them in chat.

Connecting Shopify pulls your products into WA.cr so you can share them in a chat, and lets order events start an automation.

Steps

  1. Open Integrations and choose Connect store.
  2. Pick Shopify.
  3. Enter your shop address — the one ending in myshopify.com.
  4. Choose Connect — Shopify asks you to approve access.
  5. Press Install or Approve on Shopify's screen.
  6. You'll come back to WA.cr, and the first sync starts on its own.

Use a custom app token instead

If your shop can't use the approval screen, create an admin token yourself:

  1. In Shopify admin, open Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps.
  2. Create an app and give it read access to products and orders.
  3. Install it, then copy the Admin API access token (it starts with shpat_).
  4. Back in WA.cr, choose the manual option and paste the token.

What syncs

Products come across with their name, price, photo and stock status. Order events can start an automation, so a paid order can trigger a thank-you message. Changing a product in Shopify updates it in WA.cr on the next sync.

Before you start

  • Use the myshopify.com address, not your custom domain — approval only works on the first one.
  • You need to be the shop owner, or staff with app permissions.

If it doesn't work

  • If Shopify says the address is wrong, check for a typo and drop any https://.
  • If products are missing, confirm they are active and published to a sales channel.
  • If the connection shows an error, press Test on the card to see the reason.
