Your team now hears about a booking
Every booking used to message the customer twice and tell your side nothing but a badge in the diary. The person a booking lands on now gets an email and a WhatsApp message, and a request that needs approving says so.
Released 3 September 2026
When a booking lands for someone on your rota, they are now told — by email and on WhatsApp — instead of it waiting quietly in the diary.
What's new
- The person it lands on hears about it — from your booking page, from the diary, from a chat or through the API. Before this, a booking sent two messages and both went to the customer.
- A booking that needs approving says so — and the button opens the diary at the right place, so nobody has to go looking for what is waiting.
- They see who is coming — the customer's name, their number, their email and whatever they typed when booking, so your team can prepare or ring ahead.
- A number and an address of their own — set them on each person's row under People. Leave a box empty and we use the details of the team member they are linked to.
- "Nobody can be told" is said out loud — somebody with no number, no address and no linked login is flagged in red on their row, so you find out before a booking is missed rather than after.
- A new approval template — on the Notifications step, "Template that asks your team to approve a booking". Your ordinary confirmation template is used for a booking that is already going ahead.
The email costs nothing and is always sent. The WhatsApp message is a paid one each time, because your own team have not messaged your business number and the free 24-hour window only opens for people who have — so if you leave the template empty, the email still goes.
