WhatsApp payments are recorded the moment they land

When a customer pays an order you sent in chat, the order is marked paid on its own — and anything you have set to run when an order is paid now runs.

Send an invoice in chat, and the order marks itself paid when the customer pays. You no longer have to check your gateway to find out.

What's new

  • Paid means paid — an order you collected payment for now shows as paid on your Orders page and in your reports, as soon as the money moves. Previously the order stayed unpaid however the payment went, and the only way to know was to open your payment gateway and match it up by hand.
  • The payment is filed against the order — the gateway's own payment reference, the amount and the method are kept with the order, so a query later is a quick look rather than a hunt.
  • Your automations fire — anything you built to run when an order is paid (a thank-you message, a fulfilment step, a hand-off to your team) now actually runs, because the order genuinely becomes paid.
  • A payment can't be undone by a stray message — WhatsApp sometimes tells us about a payment more than once, and occasionally out of order. A repeat is ignored, and an older message can never drag a paid order back to unpaid. A payment that fails and is then retried successfully still settles the order.
  • Nothing to set up — this works on the orders you already send from chat, on the payment setup you already have.
