Top up without leaving the number checkout
If your wallet is short when renting a phone number, add money right there — you choose the amount, and the number, forwarding and discount code all stay as you left them.
Released 28 July 2026
A low balance no longer sends you away mid-purchase — add money inside the rent checkout, in whatever amount you choose, and carry straight on.
What's new
- Add money where you need it — when your balance can't cover a rental, the checkout now offers Add money instead of a dead end. It opens prefilled with exactly what's needed, with quick amounts alongside, and you're free to add more. Once payment goes through, the checkout picks the balance up on its own and the Rent button comes alive — with your chosen number, forwarding destination and discount code still in place.
- Billed in arrears? Rent goes on your bill — if your account settles per cycle rather than from a prepaid balance, renting a number no longer asks you to hold a float for it. The charge joins your next bill, exactly like the messages you send, and your call forwarding is never paused over it.
- Tax shown on its own line — the quote now itemises GST separately above the total, so the amount you approve is the amount that leaves your wallet, and it carries through to your bill and tax invoice.
- A clearer number list — numbers that discount codes don't apply to are marked with a small asterisk and a note under the list, and picking a number now takes you straight down to the next step.
