WA.cr

Tell WA.cr when you are open

A new Opening hours panel in Settings records the one week your whole workspace runs on — split shifts, late nights past midnight, and particular dates — and an Auto Flow can now branch on whether you are open right now.

Released 1 September 2026

Your workspace can finally say when it is open — and your automations can act on it. Settings → Opening hours holds one week for the whole workspace, and an Auto Flow can branch on whether you are open at the moment it fires.

What's new

  • Settings → Opening hours — seven rows, one per day. Two windows on a day is how you set a lunch break: 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 leaves the hour between them closed.
  • A late night is one window, not two — a kitchen serving till 2am types Friday 22:00 to 26:00, on the day it opens. At half past midnight on Saturday you are still inside Friday's window, and we know that.
  • Copy Monday to Friday, or to every day, so you type one row and not seven.
  • Particular dates — a date replaces that day's usual hours outright, so a half day on 26 January is one entry with the hours that remain, and a holiday is one entry marked closed all day. Give each a label — "Diwali", "stock take" — so the diary reads as something a person wrote.
  • Open now, at the top of the page — "Open now until 19:00", or "Closed now — opens Monday 10:00". It comes from exactly the code your automations run, so the page and your flows can never disagree.
  • Your time zone stays yours — the times are wall-clock times, so "we open at 10" keeps meaning 10 across a daylight-saving change. The zone starts as your display zone and is independent of it afterwards, so changing how you like dates shown will not quietly move when your shop is open.
  • Auto Flows can ask — a Condition step gains a Workspace hours rule: the workspace is open or the workspace is closed. An out-of-hours auto-reply is now something you can build. The flow simulator has a matching toggle, so you can try both branches without waiting for the clock.
  • The hours as a sentence — at the foot of the page, your week reads back as "Monday-Friday: 10:00-19:00", ready for anywhere a customer needs to be told.

Until you fill it in, nothing changes

A workspace that has never opened this page has no opinion, and everything behaves exactly as it does today — always available. That is on purpose: a schedule nobody wrote should never start turning customers away.

It does mean one thing worth knowing. If you build a flow that replies when you are closed, it will never fire until you have actually set your hours. The condition editor says so next to the setting.

If you want to say you are shut, that is a real answer too — save a schedule with every day empty, and we can tell it apart from never having said. And Clear the schedule takes you back to no opinion whenever you like.

Who can change it

Anyone who can look at settings can read the hours. Changing them needs permission to manage settings, and every change is recorded in your activity log with the full schedule, so you can always see what your hours were on a given day.

This is not the same as quiet hours, which say when messages may be sent, or a team member's appointment availability, which is that person's diary. Those are unchanged.
