Several numbers, one call menu

Build a call menu once, let as many of your phone numbers answer with it, and change them all at the same moment.

Released 17 August 2026

A call menu no longer belongs to one number. Give it a name and any of your phone numbers can answer with it — so a sales line and a support line that greet callers the same way finally share one greeting instead of two copies that quietly drift apart.

Find them under Channels → Shared call menus.

Since this note was written, call menus are built on the Auto Flow canvas: make one under Auto Flow → New call flow, then point a number at it from that number's own settings under Channels. The Shared call menus page no longer exists; everything below still holds.

  • Build a menu once, then point as many numbers at it as you like.
  • Change it in one place and every number using it changes at the same moment.
  • Each number can still keep a menu of its own instead — the two live side by side.

Switching is reversible. Pointing a number at a shared menu keeps its own menu exactly as it was, so you can switch back at any time and callers hear what they heard before.

We will not let you break a line. Your numbers may sit with different carriers, and a menu one can play another cannot. We check when you save a shared menu — against every number already using it, including the ones you were not thinking about — and again when you attach it to a new number. If something will not work, we say which numbers and change nothing. A menu that numbers still answer with cannot be removed at all until you have pointed them elsewhere.

From the inbox, "Send to a call menu" now asks which one — that number's own, or any shared menu — so you can drop a customer into exactly the right place.
