One tap for an address you already have

When a WhatsApp cart has to be posted, your customer is offered the addresses already on their record as taps — and the parcel goes to the one they gave you.

Released 17 August 2026

Being asked to type out an address you have already given the same shop is the most avoidable way to lose a sale. Every address request in a WhatsApp cart now offers the addresses already on that customer's record as taps.

  • Your customer picks one and the cart carries on. Typing out a new address still works exactly as before, and a customer with nothing on file gets the blank form.
  • This no longer depends on which address setting a workspace picked. If we have an address for that customer, it is offered.

We have also fixed something worth knowing about. An order could be stamped with a different address of that customer's — usually the oldest one on their record, sometimes a billing address from an old invoice — instead of the one they had just shared. The delivery charge and the tax were then worked out against that wrong pin code. An order now takes the address the customer actually gave, and if we are ever unsure, it waits for you in Orders rather than guessing.
