Ring your team on an outgoing call
Calling a customer used to ring one person, and fail if they were away. It can now try your whole ring group, one after another, and only dial the customer once somebody picks up.
Released 17 August 2026
Calling a customer rang one person, and stopped if they were away. The customer never knew anyone had tried — we always ring your side first, so they are only dialled once a colleague picks up.
What's new
- When the line's call menu has a ring group, calling a customer from a chat now offers Ring the team, showing how many phones it will try.
- It rings them one after another, in the order you listed them in the call menu, and dials the customer as soon as somebody answers.
- The group comes from your existing call menu, so there is no second list to keep up to date.
Worth knowing
- Your customer is rung once, not once per teammate, and the call history shows one call rather than one per person tried. That is the honest record — the other attempts rang your own staff.
- It only moves on when somebody genuinely doesn't pick up — no answer, or engaged. If you press End call, or an attempt fails outright, it stops there. Ending a call never rings the next person.
- At most eight phones are tried on one press, however long your group is.
- Your balance is checked before every attempt, so a ring group cannot keep dialling on an empty wallet.
