Rent Appointments on any plan, straight from Billing
Online booking used to mean upgrading to Growth or asking us for a quote. It is now an add-on you can switch on yourself from the Subscription tab, at a rate that stays where you signed up.
Released 17 August 2026
Online booking has been part of Growth and above for a while. On a smaller plan the only way to get it was to ask us and wait for a quote to come back. Now you can just switch it on.
What's new
- It sits on your Subscription tab as an add-on you can pick up yourself. The card tells you what it costs including tax before you commit, and when your next renewal falls.
- Pay once and it renews with your plan at the rate you signed up at — the same locked-in pricing your plan gets, so a later price change never moves what you already pay. Start mid-month and the first payment covers only the days up to your next plan renewal.
- Stopping is just as plain. "Stop renewing" turns off the next charge and nothing else. You keep Appointments for the whole period you have already paid for, and the card tells you the date it ends.
Your paperwork
Every month you pay for gets its own tax invoice and its own receipt, numbered in the same statutory series as the rest of your paperwork, so your accounts stay in one unbroken run of invoice numbers. A payment notice that arrives twice is still settled once — repeated notices from a payment gateway cannot mint a second invoice against a series that is not allowed to have gaps or duplicates.
Worth knowing
- If it lapses, your diary does not disappear. Every booking your customers have already made stays visible and your team can still work the day. You just cannot take new ones until you pick it back up.
- It renews with your plan, not on a date of its own. Pick it up halfway through your month and you pay only for the days left in it — then it falls due alongside your plan from there on, so there is one renewal date to keep track of rather than two. The card tells you what today's part-month costs before you commit.
