Send form links with answers already filled in
Add answers to a form link and the form opens with them filled in. Add ro=1 and visitors can see those answers but can't change them.
Released 22 October 2026
A form link can now carry answers. The people you send it to find their name, email or the option you picked already filled in, and only answer what you don't know.
What's new
- Answers on the link. Add
?field_key=valueto a form's link for each question, for examplehttps://acme.wa.cr/f/enquiry?full_name=Meera%20Shah&plan=Gold. The field key is the small grey code under each question in the builder. - Lock them with
ro=1. Questions that took an answer from the link become read-only, with a short note saying why. Every other question stays editable. - A link builder in Share. Open Share on a form, then Prefilled link. Type the answers, tick Lock the answers you filled in, and copy the link.
- Works in your website embed and short links. Put the answers on the form link in your embed code, or make a short link from the whole prefilled link.
Worth knowing
- A value that doesn't fit is ignored. The question is left empty for the visitor to answer, and the form never shows an error because of the link.
- Locking is a convenience, not security. Anyone can edit a link, so every answer is still checked when the form is sent, just like a typed one.
