Pay back a cancelled WhatsApp cart order from the order page
Cancelling a WhatsApp cart order now stops its payment request, and an order that owes money back shows the amount with a Refund now button.

A cancelled WhatsApp cart order can no longer be paid by mistake, and when money does come in you can send it back from the order itself.
What's new
- Cancel stops the payment request — if the invoice already went out, its Pay button is switched off in the chat.
- Money owed back is shown — a payment that still reaches a cancelled order, or a customer who paid twice, shows a refund strip on the order with the amount owed.
- Refund now — asks WhatsApp Pay to pay the customer back. Paid back another way? Choose Mark refunded outside WA.cr and add a note.
Worth knowing
- A cancel never refunds by itself: money goes back only when someone presses Refund now or marks it refunded.
- Refunding needs permission to manage orders. On most other orders, the strip offers marking only.
- The Pay button is switched off only if order status messages are on for your workspace.
