Customers can book an appointment inside a chat
An automation can offer your diary's open times in a WhatsApp or email conversation and take the booking from the reply, without sending the customer off to a booking page.

A customer who asks for an appointment can now book one without leaving the conversation. Until now you had to send them to your booking page and hope they finished — most people did not. An automation can now offer your diary's open times and take the booking from their reply.
What's new
- Offer times — a step that reads your diary and shows the next open slots as a tappable list, up to nine at a time, with a More times row when there are more. It is the same diary your booking page uses, so a time offered here is a time that is genuinely free.
- Take the booking — books the time they picked and sends the same confirmation email and calendar invite a booking made on your booking page would send.
- It works in email too, with nothing extra to set up — in an email conversation the times arrive as a numbered list and the customer just replies with a number.
- Somebody else got that slot? The conversation carries on — if a time is claimed in the seconds between offering it and the customer tapping it, the step takes a Just taken exit that you can wire straight back to offering times. The customer sees a fresh list instead of being told to start again.
- A quiet diary has an answer too — when nothing is free in the window you are offering, the flow takes a No times free exit, so you can suggest a callback or a waiting list rather than leaving the customer without a reply.
- Replies are matched to what that customer actually saw — a "2" means the second time on their list, and a tap on a time from an older message is turned down rather than booked into the wrong slot.
Booking in a chat starts switched off. Ask us to turn it on for your workspace, then drag the two steps onto a flow and choose the service and team member they should book. It needs a plan that includes appointments, or the appointments add-on.
