Voice notes and transcripts
Send a voice message and read automatic transcripts of customer voice notes.
You can send voice notes and read what customers say, because every incoming voice note is turned into readable text automatically.
Steps
- Open the conversation you want to reply to.
- Find the voice option in the message box.
- Hold to record your message.
- Release to review it, then send.
- For incoming voice notes, read the transcript shown under the audio.
- Tap play only if you want to hear the original.
Transcripts in Indian languages
Automatic transcription turns each customer voice note into text you can read instead of replay, including Indian languages shown in Roman script. To choose how it behaves, open Settings then General and pick Off, Manual or Auto.
Off, Manual or Auto
Off shows no transcript. Manual lets you transcribe a voice note on demand. Auto transcribes every incoming voice note for you.
If it doesn't work
- If your recording won't send, allow microphone access in your browser.
- If no transcript appears, open Settings then General and set transcription to Manual or Auto.
- If a transcript looks off, play the original audio to confirm the wording.
