Your new logo shows up straight away
Replacing your brand logo, a channel icon or your profile picture used to keep showing the old image, no matter how many times you tried. New images now appear immediately.
If you swapped your logo and the old one stubbornly stayed put, that wasn't you doing it wrong. It was us. It's fixed.
What's new
- Replacing an image works the first time — upload a new brand logo and you'll see the new one. Previously the old image could keep appearing for a long time, and nothing you did in the product would shift it.
- Removing and re-uploading works too — the old trick of deleting the image and adding it again didn't help either, for the same underlying reason. It wasn't that your upload failed; your new image was saved correctly every time, and something further down the line kept handing out the previous one.
- All your images, not just the logo — the same fix covers your channel icons, your profile picture, and the picture we mirror from your Instagram account. Change your Instagram picture and your channel will follow it, instead of showing the face you had before.
- Nothing to do on your side — images you've already uploaded keep working exactly as they are, and move onto the new arrangement the next time you replace them.
