Your browser tabs now say where you are
Every console page used to show the same caption, so a row of open tabs was unreadable. Each page now names itself and the business it belongs to.
Open the inbox, a contact and your billing page, and you used to get three identical tabs. Now each one tells you what it is — and which business it belongs to.
What's new
- Every page names itself — "Contacts", "Broadcasts", "Opening hours". Hovering the tab strip, using your browser's tab search, or reopening a window all work the way you would expect.
- So does the business — the caption reads Contacts · Your Business Name, so if you run more than one workspace you can tell two open tabs apart at a glance instead of reading the address bar.
- Bookmarks and history improve on their own — anything you save from now on is filed under the page's real name, and your history stops being one line repeated down the screen.
- Nothing sensitive is written into a tab — a title says what the page is, never who it is about. A conversation is "Conversation" and a contact is "Contact", so nothing about your customers ends up in a caption that browser history keeps, that a screen share reveals, or that appears in a screenshot.
