The console on your phone shows what you can open
The menu and the row of shortcuts at the bottom of the console on a phone now match what your account can actually do, and a shortcut you cannot use is replaced by one you can.
On a phone, the console used to offer you pages your role could not open. It now shows the same workspace your laptop does.
What's new
- The menu matches your role — the slide-in menu behind the button at the top left drew every page in the product, whether or not your account had access. Tapping one of those got you a page telling you off. It now lists exactly what the sidebar lists on a laptop.
- The shortcuts at the bottom, too — the row of four along the bottom of the screen applied no such check at all, so Orders sat under your thumb even on accounts that cannot open orders.
- A shortcut you cannot use is replaced, not left dead — the row keeps its four spots: if one of them is not for your account, the next thing you can open takes that place. Settings stays where it has always been, on the right.
- Settings looks like one drawer again on a wide screen — the list of settings panels sat marooned in the middle of the page. It now sits directly against the main menu, on its own shaded strip, with the panel you are on clearly picked out.
