Settings opens on an overview of your workspace
The first page of Settings now shows every channel side by side, what to fix first, shortcuts to the settings you use, and preferences that save on their own.
Released 9 October 2026
Settings now opens on Overview: one page that tells you how your workspace is set up and what to do next.
What's new
- Every channel side by side. WhatsApp, Instagram, email and phone lines appear as equals, each with its status and how many messages it carried this week. A new workspace sees Connect your first channel instead.
- Up next. A short list of what to fix first, from anything that stops you sending to things worth setting up. You can hide the suggestions you do not need.
- Your shortcuts. Tiles for the settings you use, each with a live fact such as "4 members, 1 invite pending" or "Open now". Choose Customise to pick which show and in what order.
- Preferences save on their own. Chat privacy, voice-note transcription, number masking, date and time, and platform support access save the moment you change them.
Worth knowing
- Looking for "General"? It is now called Overview, in the same place at the top of Settings.
- Send a test message now lives on each WhatsApp number's own page, under Channels, and sends from that number.
