See your brand colours before you save — and button text that stays readable
Settings → Branding now previews both light and dark mode side by side as you pick, and the text on your buttons automatically switches to whatever stays readable on your colour.
You can now see exactly how each accent lands before you commit to it — including the one you can't see from your own screen.
What's new
- Both modes, side by side — a live preview sits under the colour boxes showing light and dark together, so you can judge your dark colour without switching your own screen to dark mode.
- See it on the real thing — the preview shows a button, a tag and highlighted text on each mode's actual background, updating as you type or pick.
- Button text stays readable, automatically — the writing on your buttons now switches between dark and light depending on which one reads better on your colour. You don't set it and you can't get it wrong.
- We'll tell you if a colour disappears — if your accent is too close to the page behind it, so buttons and links fade into the background, the preview says so and suggests going a shade deeper or lighter. It's advice, not a rule: the colour is yours.
