See what a broadcast will cost before you send it
The broadcast builder now shows what your WhatsApp broadcast will cost, split between your WA.cr wallet and Meta, and whether your wallet covers it, before anything goes out.
Released 14 October 2026
The broadcast builder now tells you what a WhatsApp broadcast will cost before you send it, so there are no surprises in your wallet.
What's new
- A price as soon as you pick your audience. Once you've chosen who to send to, you can see what that audience would cost as a marketing message and as a utility message.
- One figure, one bar. Choose your message and you get one total, with a bar that shows how it splits: WA.cr's fee and GST, paid from your WA.cr wallet, and Meta's part, which Meta bills to your own card.
- Your audience by country. See where your recipients are, since the price of a WhatsApp message depends on the country it goes to.
- Does your wallet cover it? The card tells you whether your wallet has enough. If it doesn't, it shows how much more you need and, if you manage billing, a Top up link right there.
Worth knowing
- It matches what you'll be charged. The figure is worked out exactly the way each message is charged when it sends, so WA.cr's part is what your wallet will be debited.
- "Up to" means a ceiling. A utility message is free from Meta for anyone whose 24-hour chat window is open, and a Flow only reaches people with an open window, so these show "up to" and can come in lower.
- Meta's part is an estimate. When Meta bills your card directly, its part is shown at Meta's list rate and kept separate from what WA.cr charges.
- Who can see it. Only teammates who can view billing see the amounts. Everyone else sees how many people the broadcast reaches.
- Billed through a provider? Your provider sets your rates, so the card shows who to ask for a quote instead of a price.
