Allow changes on Reddit from where you need it
A view-only Reddit ad account now offers Allow changes on its card in Ad accounts and right inside an AI campaign's launch, which brings you back to the campaign afterwards.
Released 12 October 2026
A newly connected Reddit ad account can now be given edit access straight away, from wherever you are when you need it.
What's new
- On the Ad accounts page — a Reddit card that can only read now says so: WA.cr can show its results but can't pause, re-budget or create ads on it. Allow changes sits right beside that line.
- Inside an AI campaign's launch — a Reddit ad account greyed out as view only has Allow changes right under it. After you approve on Reddit, you land back on the same campaign, ready to launch.
- On the campaigns pages, as before — the note above the tables still offers Allow changes for a view-only Reddit account.
Worth knowing
- Your accounts and history stay put. Allowing changes updates the same connection; nothing is reconnected from scratch.
- Changed your mind at Reddit? If you started from a campaign and cancel on Reddit's screen, the page you land on offers Back to the campaign.
- Allowing changes needs permission to manage marketing, on a plan that covers Marketing.
