Pick the number your appointment messages come from

A WhatsApp template is approved against one number, so the appointment setup now asks which number your diary messages come from — and shows you only the templates that number can send.

What's new

• Choose the number first. Under Settings → Appointments → Notifications, workspaces with more than one connected WhatsApp number now pick which one sends booking confirmations and reminders. With a single number there is nothing to choose and nothing changes.
• The template lists follow that number. Both the confirmation and reminder templates are now chosen from a list of what is approved on that number, so you cannot name a template it has no way to send.
• Reminders go out from the number you chose. Previously a reminder to a customer who had never messaged you first could go out from whichever number happened to be your default — and if that was not the number your template was approved on, WhatsApp quietly refused it while the email still arrived.

Worth knowing

• Nothing changes until you choose. A workspace that has already named its templates keeps sending exactly what it sends today. If a name you typed earlier is not approved on the number you pick, it stays in the box as you wrote it, and the page tells you it is on another number.
