Link contacts to each other with Associated Contact fields
A new custom-field type connects contacts in your address book — family, colleagues, referrers — and the link is always mutual. Plus every contact now has a copyable ID.
Your contacts know each other — now your address book does too. Link a customer to their spouse, colleagues or the friend who referred them, and the connection shows on both sides automatically.
What's new
- A new field type: Associated Contact — in Contacts → Custom fields, create fields like "Family" or "Referred by" whose value is other contacts, picked from a searchable list of your address book.
- Always mutual — add B to A's "Family" and A appears in B's "Family" automatically. Remove the link on either side and it clears on both. Deleting a contact tidies it out of everyone's lists.
- Survives merges — merge two contacts and every link moves to the surviving record, no strays.
- Copyable Contact ID — every contact's page now shows its permanent ID with a one-tap copy button, and exports offer it as a column.
- Import relationships from a file — map a spreadsheet column to an Associated Contact field and fill it with Contact IDs (from contact pages or an export). The import mapper now lists all your custom fields as mapping targets, too.
