Fresh numbers in the Geeks Wing
The Numbers Museum at wa.cr/geeks has been recounted — over half a million lines of code, 384 releases, and three more open-source projects thanked on the credits wall.
Released 13 August 2026
The geek page at wa.cr/geeks had drifted a month behind. Every figure on it has been counted afresh from the real thing, so what you read there is the platform as it stands today.
What's new
- Half a million lines, and counting — the Permanent Collection now reads 5,10,613 lines of code, up from 3,98,945 when it was last tallied in July.
- 1,570 changes over 79 days, across 384 releases — the pace of the platform, in plain numbers.
- The Cadence Room tells the whole story again — the day-by-day heat strip used to stop in mid-July; it now runs right up to the present.
- Three more names on the Hall of Giants — the credits wall thanks 68 open-source projects now: the one that tidies up your flow diagrams, the one that turns a conversation into a printable file, and the one that transcribes your longer voice notes.
- Honest cards — where a project publishes no licence or has moved house, its card says so plainly rather than guessing.
Admission is still free. The quiet Geeks link in the site footer will take you there.
