Form sections and blocks that show only when they matter
Show a whole section of a form, or a piece of text, an image or a video, only when an earlier answer calls for it. And a follow-up question now disappears when the question it followed up on does.
Released 24 September 2026
Show a section, or a block of text, a picture or a video, only to the visitors it is meant for — and hide the follow-ups that no longer apply.
What's new
- Sections can be shown only sometimes. Click the branch button on a section and build a rule, exactly as you would for a question. While the rule doesn't hold, the whole section — its heading and everything in it — stays out of sight.
- So can text, images and videos. Open a block and tick Show this block only sometimes.
- A hidden section asks for nothing. None of its questions is required while it is hidden, and nothing typed into them is kept.
- A follow-up goes when its question goes. If a visitor changes an earlier answer so that a question disappears, anything shown because of that question's answer disappears too, instead of staying on screen and insisting on an answer. Change it back and what they typed returns.
- Easy to spot. Sections and blocks shown only sometimes carry a branch mark in the outline and say when they are shown.
