Contact search finds everyone — and flags duplicates
Searching your contacts, including inside the merge tool, now looks across your whole contact book instead of just the most recent ones. And when two contacts share an email address, you'll see a clear duplicate warning on the contact page — one click to review and merge them into a single history.

Contact search now spans your whole contact book, and it points out likely duplicates so two records for the same person don't quietly pile up.
What's new
- Search finds every contact — searching by name, email, username or number now looks across all of your contacts, not just the most recently added ones. This also fixes the merge tool, where searching for an older contact could wrongly come back with "No other contacts match."
- A clear warning when two contacts share an email — the same person often lands in your book twice (say, a store checkout and their WhatsApp chat). When two contacts share an email address, a duplicate warning now appears on the contact page as well as in chat, with Review & merge right there.
- You're always in control — merging is never automatic. You choose which details to keep, and every merge can be undone.
