Every charge with GST is on your tax invoice
Your monthly tax invoice and postpaid bill now itemise SMS, voice-note transcription, AI usage and secure documents, with the GST you paid on each, so the GST is there for your records.
Released 7 October 2026
Your monthly tax invoice now lists every charge that carried GST — including SMS, voice-note transcription, AI usage and secure documents — so the GST you paid on them is on a proper tax invoice.
What's new
- New lines on your consumption invoice. After your messaging and voice lines you will see SMS, Voice-note transcription, AI usage and Secure document processing, each with its taxable value and the GST already taken from your wallet. Nothing is charged again — these are amounts you have already paid.
- Invoiced even without messages. A month in which you only used, say, AI replies or transcription still gets its tax invoice.
- Postpaid bills include them too. Your cycle bill now covers these charges, and the tax invoice issued when you pay it matches the bill line for line.
Worth knowing
- Invoices already issued are unchanged. The new lines start with your next invoice; a bill you were sent before this change is settled exactly as billed.
- Workspaces outside India under the export (LUT) arrangement see these lines with no GST, as before.
