Contacts search finds the best match first
Searching your contacts now looks through your whole contact book, including tags and custom fields, and puts exact and starts-with matches at the top.

Finding a contact is quicker: the search box looks through your whole contact book and shows the closest matches first.
What's new
- Your whole book, every time. The search no longer stops at the contacts already on screen, however large your book is.
- Tags and custom fields too. Type a tag, or a value from a custom field such as a city or a membership tier, and the matching contacts appear.
- Best matches on top. An exact name, email or tag comes first, then names that start with what you typed, then everything else.
Worth knowing
- Prefer your own order? Click a column heading in the table view to sort the results.
- If numbers are masked for you, a partial number still doesn't match — type the complete number. Phone custom fields aren't searched for you either.
