A simpler way to connect a WhatsApp number
Adding a WhatsApp number now walks you through a short setup, and you can connect just for messaging without being forced to create a product catalogue.
Connecting a WhatsApp number is now a short, guided setup — and if you only want to message customers, you no longer have to create a product catalogue to finish.
What's new
- Guided setup — "Add channel" and "Connect WhatsApp" now open a step-by-step wizard instead of dropping you straight into the WhatsApp signup dialog.
- Just messaging, or selling too — tell us whether you'll sell products or only message customers. Choose just messaging and signup skips catalogue creation, so you're no longer stuck at a step you don't need.
- Use a number you already have — connect a spare number in a few steps.
- More on the way — Instagram is shown as a preview in the wizard, so you can see what's coming next.
