Connect Google Sheets to your flows
Your Auto Flows can now add, update and look up rows in your own Google spreadsheets — including saving WhatsApp Flow form answers.
Released 28 July 2026
Connect a Google account and your Auto Flows can work directly with your spreadsheets — saving each new lead as a row, updating a customer's record, or looking someone up mid-conversation to reply with their details.
What's new
- A new Google Sheets step in the Auto Flows builder: add a row, add-or-update, update, look up, or create a spreadsheet or tab.
- After you pick a spreadsheet and tab, press Load columns — WA.cr reads the header row and gives you one box per column to fill with flow values.
- Look up a row saves the columns you choose, so the next step can send them straight back to the customer.
- Submitted WhatsApp Flow forms now hand their answers to the flow as
{{var.flow_…}}values, so a form can land in a spreadsheet with no extra setup. - Two ways to connect: sign in with your own Google app, or paste a service-account key and share your sheets with its address. The wizard walks through the Google Cloud setup either way.
Good to know
- Credentials are stored encrypted — only a reference is kept in the database.
- Every Google Sheets step has a Success and an Error branch, so a missing row or an outage never leaves a contact stuck.
- Find it under Integrations, and read Connect Google Sheets for the full setup.
