An appointment can start an Auto Flow
Send a thank-you after a visit, a reminder of what to bring once a booking is confirmed, or a kind "want to pick another time?" after a no-show — automatically, from the diary.
Released 13 October 2026
What happens in your diary can now start a conversation: a confirmed booking, a completed visit or a no-show can each start an Auto Flow.
What's new
- A new Appointment trigger. In the Auto Flows builder, pick Appointment and choose the outcomes that should start the flow: Booked, Completed or No-show.
- Narrow it down. Limit a flow to certain services or venues — a follow-up for haircuts only, or a parking note for one branch. Leave a list empty to cover everything.
- The booking's details, ready to use. Messages can include the service, the team member, the venue, the date and time, and the booking code.
- Booked means confirmed. A request that needs your approval starts the flow when you approve it — never while it waits, and never if you decline it.
Worth knowing
- Public-page bookings are careful. A booking made on your public booking page starts a flow only when the customer verified their phone with the one-time code, or is new to you. Nobody you already know is messaged because somebody else typed their number in.
- Keep a no-show message kind. WA.cr still sends nothing on its own when you mark a no-show. A flow is your own message — make it gentle, like "Sorry we missed you, want to pick another time?".
- Your plan needs Appointments for the trigger to appear in the builder.
