Your storefront home page is now yours to decide

A new Storefront section lets you build your home page out of blocks, forward the whole address to a website you already have, or show nothing — and your booking links keep working either way.

Your storefront address used to show a fixed page you couldn't change. Now you choose what it does.

What's new

  • A Storefront section of your own — find it in the sidebar next to Products, Orders and Appointments. It shows your storefront address and a link to open it.
  • Three choices for your home page — show a page, forward the whole address to a website you already have, or show nothing while you decide. Nothing changes on your storefront until you edit it.
  • Build the page out of what you already have — a header with your logo and name, chat buttons, a button through to your bookings, a list of links, and your own text. Reorder them with the arrows.
  • Hide a block instead of deleting it — a festival offer or a holiday notice can be parked and brought back next time with the wording you wrote still in it.
  • Your booking links keep working — if you forward your storefront, only the home page forwards. Booking links you've already sent customers still open your booking page exactly as before.
  • Trying a forward is safe — a forward is treated as temporary unless you tick "This move is permanent", so changing your mind later doesn't leave returning visitors stuck being sent away by their own browser.
  • The WhatsApp button follows your number — leave the number blank on a chat button and it uses whichever number your workspace has connected, including after you change it.
  • Only blocks that will work are offered — chat buttons need a connected WhatsApp number and the booking block needs bookings switched on. Until then those options stay greyed out and tell you where to go, rather than giving you a button that leads nowhere.
