Share a location by searching an address
When you send a location in chat, find a place by name or address instead of typing coordinates.
You can now find a place by its address when you share a location — no more typing in latitude and longitude. Sending a pin to a customer (or saving one to a contact) is now as simple as searching.
What's new
- In the Send Location panel, search by place name or address and pick from the results — the pin fills in for you.
- On a contact, turn a saved address into a map pin, or turn a shared pin back into an address.
- Choose how lookups work in Settings → Maps: add your own Google Maps key for type-ahead suggestions, or use the built-in free map lookup at no cost.
Your map key is stored securely and is never shown back to you or shared with customers.
