Find your time zone by typing, and see the one you saved
Every time zone field in WA.cr now lists modern names such as Asia/Kolkata, searches by city, country, abbreviation or offset, and always shows the zone that is really saved.
Released 8 October 2026
Every time zone field in WA.cr now uses the same picker. Type a city, a country, an abbreviation such as IST, or an offset such as +05:30, and pick from a list that uses today's names — Asia/Kolkata is back.
What's new
- Search instead of scroll. Type
india,ist,dubai,+05:30or even the old namecalcutta. Each zone shows its offset, such asUTC+05:30 · Asia/Kolkata. - The zone you see is the zone you saved. A Google Calendar step could show Africa/Abidjan while it really held Asia/Kolkata. It now shows the saved zone, always.
- Your own time zone. Set it under Account → Profile, or press Use this device's zone. WA.cr uses it to suggest a zone when you set something up. It doesn't change how times are shown — that stays your workspace's Date & time setting.
- A new Google Calendar step fills in its zone. It takes the zone of the calendar you pick — or your own time zone, then your workspace's — and says where it came from. Pick another whenever you like.
- Cancel steps publish again. A Google Calendar step set to Cancel an appointment could stop a flow from publishing. It now publishes.
Worth knowing
- Nothing you saved moves. Steps, opening hours and settings you've already saved keep their zone. Only a step with no zone yet is filled in.
