Customers choose how to meet you

When you offer a service more than one way — at your place, at theirs, or on a call — the booking page now asks which they'd like, and shows only the times that suit it.

Released 20 August 2026

If you offer a service in more than one place, your booking page now asks how the customer would like to connect — and the times it shows follow their answer.

What's new

  • A new question on the booking page. Right after choosing what to book, the customer sees "How would you like to connect?" with your venues laid out — your studio, a home visit, a phone call, a video link. Whichever they pick, the times they see are only the ones that option can actually honour.
  • They can still just ask for the earliest slot. Under the options is "Show me any available time", which drops the filter and shows every option's times together — exactly how the page worked before.
  • Your team gets the same control. Booking for someone at the counter or over the phone? There's now a Where dropdown in the booking dialog, next to With. It starts on Anywhere free.
  • Clearer questions when you visit them. If the customer picks an option where you need their address — or their number, or a meeting link — the form now asks for exactly that one thing, instead of covering every possibility.

Worth knowing

  • Nothing changes if you work in one place. The question only appears when a service really is offered more than one way. A single-location business will never see it, and neither will its customers.
  • Set it up in your appointment settings. Add your venues, tick which ones each service can be booked at under Where this can be booked, and give each person working hours at the places they work. Leave a service unticked and it stays available everywhere.
  • Check somebody actually works there. If you offer an option nobody has working hours for, customers who pick it will see no free times — the page tells them so and offers a way back to the full list.
