Connecting WhatsApp or Instagram now explains itself
When a channel was not set up on the platform yet, the connect screens showed a dead button, a generic error, or a spinner that never finished. They now say what is actually wrong.

When a channel isn't switched on for the platform yet, the connect screens now say so — instead of leaving you with a button that does nothing or a spinner that never stops.
What's new
- Instagram says when it isn't available yet. The Instagram connect card used to show a Continue with Facebook button that could not be clicked, with nothing to explain why. It now shows the message written for exactly this case: Instagram is awaiting activation, and nothing is needed from you.
- WhatsApp sign-up names what needs setting. Starting Embedded Signup showed a generic "Couldn't initialize the Meta sign-up dialog". It now shows the specific reason, so an administrator knows what to go and configure.
- The last step no longer hangs. Finishing a WhatsApp connection could leave the wizard on Finishing up indefinitely if the platform's Meta credentials were incomplete. It now returns an error you can read and act on.
Nothing about how connecting a channel works has changed. These screens were already written to explain themselves; the explanation could not reach them.
