WA.cr

Choose your spreadsheets in Google's own file picker

Google Sheets connected with Sign in with Google now asks only for the spreadsheets you pick in Google's own window, instead of access to every spreadsheet in your Drive.

Released 8 October 2026

When you connect Google Sheets with Sign in with Google, WA.cr now asks Google for access only to the spreadsheets you choose — not to every spreadsheet in your Drive. You choose each one in Google's own file picker.

What's new

  • Choose from Google Drive. In an Auto Flow's Google Sheets step, or when you send orders to a spreadsheet, press Choose from Google Drive. Google's own window opens on your spreadsheets; pick one, then choose its tab as before.
  • Narrower access. WA.cr can open only the spreadsheets you pick and the ones it creates for you with a Create a spreadsheet step. It no longer lists your whole Drive.
  • The sign-in asks for less. Signing in for Google Sheets no longer carries any Google Calendar or Google Analytics access you've given WA.cr.
  • Order managers can choose the sheet. A teammate who manages orders can now pick the spreadsheet orders go to, without also needing permission to manage integrations.

Worth knowing

  • Already connected with Sign in with Google? Your flows keep writing to the spreadsheets they already use. To choose a new spreadsheet, press Reconnect on the Google Sheets card under Integrations. Reconnecting narrows the access, so straight after it, open each step that uses a spreadsheet and pick it once with Give access to this one — until you do, that step can't reach it.
  • Your own Google app or a service account? Nothing changes: you still search your spreadsheets by name, and a service account still needs each spreadsheet shared with it.
